🦜 About the Macaw

La Guacamaya was born out of a very simple need:
to reconnect with myself.

For many years, my life consisted of numbers, accounts, rational decisions, and structures. Until life, in one of its unexpected and sometimes abrupt turns, forced me to stop.

And in that pause, I discovered watercolor. 🦜

Not with goals.
Not to sell.
Not to do it well.
Just for the pleasure of playing with color and water, and seeing what happened.

Painting like this, without goals, without judgment, without expectations, experimenting... taught me things that no management book or Excel sheet had ever taught me:

To listen to myself, to inhabit the moment, to observe myself kindly in the instant I am living. To detach from the outcome and enjoy the present moment, nothing more.

Then I understood something very simple and very profound:

 🧡 humans NEED to create.

Not to produce, nor to demonstrate, nor to stand out, but to be in contact with one's own soul. La Guacamaya exists for that.

To offer an easy path to those who want to find the right materials, the ones that work, without getting lost in a sea of consumer options.

Here, it doesn't matter if you know how to paint: what matters is if you feel like it.

Because creating, in the end, isn't about making beautiful things... it's about returning to yourself.
